Breast Augmentation

There are many decisions to make before performing a breast augmentation, including breast size, incision placement, whether the implant is placed below or above the muscle, saline versus silicone, etc. Dr. Blyer has had impressive experience with placing both saline and silicone breast implants.  He was, in fact, chosen as one of a select group of surgeons, to participate in the FDA trials allowing for the silicone breast implant to renter the market. 

During your consultation, Dr. Blyer will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each technique and together will decide what is best for you.  

For many of our breast augmentation cases, Dr. Blyer uses the Keller breast funnel.  It is a new technique that allow Dr. Blyer to work through a smaller incision, causes less trauma to surrounding tissues, quickens recovery, and provides a smaller chance of implant injury and infection.  Please see our video section to see real footage of Dr. Blyer using the Keller breast funnel in a breast augmentation case.
